PRESENTER: Christina Machray

Christina Machray

Christina has nearly 20 years experience as a Physiotherapist.  A highly motivated and experienced practitioner, Christina has a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction, pre and postnatal care.

Christina graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University in 2003.  She has since gained a wealth of experience in private practice, hospital and sports Physiotherapy settings in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

Christina has extensive post-graduate training, including Women’s and Pelvic Health Clinical Pilates and provides treatment for women’s health, sporting injuries, and chronic pain. She takes an individual and holistic approach to treatment.

Her passion lies in helping individuals live their best life and optimise their health and wellbeing. She especially loves to support women to return to their sport or activity of choice, after surgery, injury or childbirth.

Christina has a passion for functional movement and rehabilitation.  She loves thinking outside the box and finding ways people can do activities they want to do and keep them doing it!

PRESENTER: Dr Chris Weekes

Dr Chris Weekes

Chris Weekes is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working at Nambour Selangor & Caboolture Private Hospitals as well as the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Chris provides care in all areas of general gynaecology with a special interest in prolapse management and advanced laparoscopy. He is known for his caring bedside manner and excellence in care to women of the Sunshine Coast region.

Chris gained his fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014 and has worked at Ipswich, Nambour, The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Caboolture Hospital before settling on the Sunshine Coast.

Chris enjoys working alongside General Practitioners to develop and maintain care plans for our patients. Through this holistic and supportive approach, we see improvements to patient care and outcomes.

In his time outside work Chris can be found riding, running or surfing when not spending time with his family.
