Dr Andrew Pattison, Respiratory & Sleep Physician
Dr Andrew Pattison is a Queensland born and trained Respiratory and Sleep Physician practicing on the Sunshine Coast.
Following a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy and Physiology), Andrew completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 2007. He completed specialty training in Respiratory Medicine at The Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital Brisbane. This was followed by a Sleep Medicine fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital.
After being admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016, he subsequently completed a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at Toronto General Hospital in Canada.
Andrew holds a Staff Specialist position at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and consults privately at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital.
Andrew has a special interest in thoracic malignancy, with a focus on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic and pleural procedures. This includes extensive experience with radial and convex endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). He also has extensive experience and interest in the management of all other general respiratory and sleep disorders.
Andrew is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, Australasian Sleep Association, European Respiratory Society, World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and Lung Foundation Australia.

Dr Siavash Es’haghi

Dr Siavash Es’haghi is a Director and Radiologist at Lungscreen.
He is also the founder and former Managing Director/CEO of Imaging Queensland.
He established Imaging Queensland in 2007 and was instrumental in the company’s successful growth strategy. He has over 14 years of experience in developing and managing diagnostic imaging businesses.
Dr Siavash Es’haghi is a NIOSH qualified B reader, performing lung screening services for the Queensland industrial sector, performing ILO and ICOERD classifications for chest X-ray and CT imaging of the lung, respectively.
Dr Es’haghi served on the board of the Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association (ADIA) and was the president of ADIA from 2017 to 2019.
Dr Siavash Es’haghi is a highly qualified radiologist and has completed an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA). He obtained his medical degree at the University of Otago (NZ) and was accepted as a fellow of the RANZCR in 1993.
Clinical Bio
Dr Es’haghi obtained his medical degree at the University of Otago (NZ) in 1993 and was accepted as a fellow of the RANZCR following his training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Es’haghi’s experience as a Radiologist is enhanced through his completion of a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He specialises in lungs and Occupational Lung disease.

Lung Nodule Clinic: Kylie Ryland, Nurse Navigator
Kylie is a dedicated and compassionate nurse with 18 years’ experience. After graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing in New Zealand in 2006, she went on to complete post graduate qualifications in Nursing Leadership and Management at the University of Otago. Kylie is also a graduate of the Melbourne Business School Leadership Development Program.
With a strong focus on respiratory conditions, she received a clinical excellence award for implementing nurse led community respiratory clinics, creating seamless patient pathways across the primary and secondary care interface.
She has worked across both public and private sectors, rural and urban areas, undertaking the roles of Director of Nursing and Clinical Director for substantial primary health care organisations including General Manager for a Māori Health and Services Provider.
Moving to Australia in 2021, Kylie returned to clinical nursing and continued to focus on chronic disease management and prevention, while also conducting the role of Nurse Manager for three general practice clinics.
As the Nurse Navigator for the Lung Nodule Clinic, Kylie is passionate about being in a role that enables her to use her advanced clinical knowledge, assisting patients to navigate through the healthcare system and be part of a specialist team providing monitoring, management and surveillance for patients with lung nodules.
A/Prof Tom Campbell
MBBS DPhil FRANZCO
Ophthalmic Physician & Surgeon
A/Prof Campbell is a consultant ophthalmologist at Coastal Eye Centre, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, the Centre for Eye Research Australia at the University of Melbourne, and the NQ Eye Foundation. He is passionate about trying to improve outcomes in ophthalmology through the integration of research and clinical practice. A/Prof Campbell is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with subspecialty expertise in medical retina, ocular genetics, electrodiagnostics, and ocular inflammation. He treats medical and surgical diseases of the eye such as cataract, glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, and diabetes.
He completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland before moving to the UK, where he undertook an M.Sc and D.Phil in neuroscience at Oxford University. He then worked at St Cross College and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford as a research fellow in medical genetics.
