This month’s meeting features expert presentations across orthopaedics and respiratory medicine. Dr Navi Bali, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Sunny Coast Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic, Buderim Private and SCUPH, will present Orthopaedic Mythbusting, exploring interarticular biologics, ablative techniques, and whether robotic replacement truly represents the next major advancement in joint care.
Dr Bob Edwards, Respiratory Physician from Queensland Respiratory Services, will discuss Applying the New COPD Clinical Care Standards in General Practice, providing practical guidance on integrating updated standards into everyday clinical workflows.

Dr Navi Bali is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon on the Sunshine Coast, providing both elective and injury/trauma care through Sunny Coast Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, with consulting and hospital affiliations including Buderim Private and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. His clinical scope includes lower-limb and sports injury management, and he has a strong focus on robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement—being cited by his clinic as a high-volume Mako robotic hip/knee replacement surgeon in Queensland (2024–2025).
Dr Robert Edwards is a respiratory (thoracic) and sleep medicine physician and a Partner Physician with Queensland Respiratory Services. Public profiles note a long clinical career, with formal training milestones including graduating from the University of Queensland (MBBS) and later fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), and interests spanning COPD and sleep medicine.
