Speaker Bios

Dr. Chris Weekes
Dr. Chris Weekes is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working at Nambour Selangor & Caboolture Private Hospitals and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He specializes in general gynaecology with a focus on prolapse management and advanced laparoscopy. Known for his compassionate care, Chris has been a trusted physician in the Sunshine Coast region since gaining his fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014. Outside of work, he enjoys riding, running, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Christina Machray, Physiotherapist
Christina Machray brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women’s Health. She graduated from Otago University in 2003 and has worked across private practice, hospitals, and sports settings in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Christina is committed to a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on women’s health issues, chronic pain, and rehabilitation. Her passion lies in empowering individuals to live their best lives and return to their favorite activities post-injury or childbirth.
